How cool! I finally have a name for what I was 50+ years ago. I mean a
name besides "little putz." I lived a block from what is now Amtrak but
was then the New York, New Haven and Hartford line that ran from
Pennsylvania Station, across Hell Gate bridge, and up to Boston. I used
to love to go up there and watch the trains going by. I think I even
got to know the schedules. I don't know about British railways, but
America's have fallen on bad times and basically stink.
