If you don't use those keys, they will always be confusing. I have =
those extra keys on all but my C clarinet and I wish I had it on that. =
I am so used to using them that I never think to slide. It isn't very =
often that I need that key on my C, but I sure miss it when I do. The =
only key I don't use on a regular basis is the left banana. I do =
practice with it in every warm up, but I never seem to use it anywhere.

Matthew wrote the following about the Tosca model Buffet clarinet:

<<<<<<<<<The confusion that I suggested as a result of all this was that =
on
changing from a Tosca Bb or A to an Eb (or whatever) one would
effectively have a different set of fingerings for the lowest notes. I
can see that as a recipe for confusion for those who double regularly,
but not (obviously) for those who play nothing but Bb/A

I have to say that I almost never use the second Eb/Ab key on either my
basset horn or my bass clarinet as the key is not there on my regular Eb
(which I play more than anything) and equally is not present of my=20
Bb/A.>>>>>>>>>>>=20
