Responding to Elise and her post concerning off topic posts, I think it
is worth thinking also that at times the subject line is never changed
on a post that wanders off topic. Or wanders from one off topic topic to
another.

I try to change the title if I post off topic to make it clear what my
post is about as I recognise that there are some here who make it almost
a personal credo not to read anything in their lives save the clarinet
or, alternatively, that they require this list to be 100% Clarinet.

Well it isn't that and won't be that. Ever. Mark has made that very
clear.

I take my blame for my share of missed clipping - both on topic and off
- although it is much easier if you don't read the list as a digest.
Given that I don't read it as such it is perhaps an explanation of why
I'm not disciplined about that.

I will attempt to be a better clipper!

But I will never promise not to post off topic.
