Roger S: "Nevertheless, there are primates which exhibit homosexual
behaviour.
There are other uses than reproduction for sex - as far as I know....."

Sue R: "...so this means we should lower ourselves to an animal level?"

Me: I really wanted to stay out of this but this is such a delightful
perversion of logic I had to share my enjoyment. Zillions of words have
been spilt explaining that heterosex is natural and that homosex is against
nature, and as soon as its pointed out that actually same sex activity is
found in nature then suddenly identifying with nature is sinking to a lower
level.

In fact is anyone really prepared to go the whole hog and argue that natural
equals correct and everything that follows from that. For myself I think
that argueing from nature is not productive and begs the question why anyone
would ever need to legislate for what is natural.
