The two posts about the "park-and-ride" connection to "kiss-and-fly"
show how localized dialect can become. I live only 100 miles away from
a metropolis where "park and ride" exists, and yet I was totally unaware
of what the billboard intended to say. All I saw was a man & lady
kissing, a seashore or similar, and an airplane soaring up into the sky.

You learn something every day.
