I've been to Britain twice, and I find that there are just enough =
differences between English-English and American-English to provide some =
fun, without seriously limiting our ability to understand one another. =
On my first trip, I had forgotten to pack something, so I went into a =
department store and asked a woman who worked there if they sold fanny =
packs. She looked embarrased, and informed me that "we call them bum =
bags." It seems that in England, a "fanny" is a different part of the =
anatomy (female only). Oops!
