Wow... This thread sure generates alot of responses, picky picky picky...
you know, americans and english arent that diffrent, for one, we can
understand each other, and (before i go on let me say that i am american and
do not know any english people personally, however) we americans have come
to associate the english with frases such as "may i have a spot of tea?"
"cheerio" etc.. when i am sure that most english people do not say that
anymore (if they ever did)

one thing is for sure... this thread started a sort of war between us, when
one thing has brought us here together in the first place, and that is our
love for clarinets. sure i may have added some fuel to the fire, but you
guys (and women) are duking it out and its really ridiculous.

I sincerely doubt (and hope) that i did not just subscribe to a "bitch and
moan" list that talks about everything except clarinets. i mean, i logged on
to my email today, and i had 3 pages worth of NEW emails.... and only 3 of
them had to do with clarinets.

I know im new here and that i may have had the enfrontery to actually stand
up to this, however, may i suggest one thing?, if you all want to continue
fighting about american v.s. english, please do so in a mirriam webster
list, and leave klarinets for actual clarinet talking...

and one more thing, just to be clear, when i say "you" it is in general, i
don't mean to point out one particular person.

Dave
