We sell some alto clarinet books but you aren't going to find any advice
about mouthpieces or anything like that.

I use a Vandoren B44 on my Buffet alto clarinet and Vandoren 3 reeds.

In my opinion, there is very little someone that plays clarinet would need
to learn to play alto clarinet. I can only think of two things:

1. The pinhole on the left first finger key for the altissimo notes (like a
bass clarinet).

2. I get really good results using the throat fingerings for the lower
altissimo notes. Your mileage may vary.
