In addition to using Norton's anti-virus, I also use SpyBot, which you can
download for free from the internet. Very good!!It nukes any pop-ups that
might ruin your day.. warns you about unsavory lurkers etc. Viruses can come
with pop-ups as well. Its very NB to use a good and reputable anti-virus
program. You will have to pay for that, but don't hesitate.

You make sure that everyone using Microsoft email clients either get an
anti-virus program _and_ keep it updated or get them to use a different
email client.

Of course, if the majority of people in the world used a different email
client then _that_ email client would become the target ....

If _you're_ the one triggering the school's anti-virus software then you
need to get your computer fixed ASAP.
