However, I'm reasonably certain that marrying a trumpet player is, in
fact, marrying out of the SPECIES, much less the faith...

Oh, now come on!! At least strings are kindred spirits with their lush
(not drunk), romantic and passionate use of their
voice. In my local symphony, a marriage made in heave. Besides, our
principal clarinetist married a violinist and both
seem to be schmaltzing it up.
