I would like to correct an inaccuracy in what I wrote above. It has
been pointed out to me that Steve Fox has been providing original RH joints
for different makes of instruments, as per the Howarth plan, for several
years, even though others have been working as I described. (Keith Bowen has
already made a post of his own to this effect, I believe.) In addition, I
think no-one has any doubt that Steve's work is superlative, given the
professional references he has been given here and elsewhere.

I apologise to Steve Fox for my ignorance of the details of his work in this
area.
