I swore to myself I wasn't going to get into this discussion - BUT - in a
great moment of weakness (I should have known better) I bought a
"recommended" (by the seller of course) Eb that seemed to be at a reasonable
price. I already have a lamp made from a "student" clarinet. This Eb had a
barrel that didn't fit and a tone worse than an oboe whose player caught his
(or her) foot in the lawnmower. NEVER again.
