Quite right, Karl. I'd add that as well as having been a long-time
participant on Klarinet, Sean has been a *valuable* long-time participant.

It's always interesting to see, via the search-engine, the quality of those
on this list who regularly leap up to complain about off-topic posts. They
are almost always those who make few worthwhile contributions themselves, but
who are nevertheless prolific in making cutesy comments about posts made by
others. The fact is, they are sensitive to off-topicality, but generally not
much else.

I'd say that that stands even though Sean has apologised for making his post
to the list.
