Of course, if all the description said was "silver," they can LEGALLY say
they were referring to the COLOR of the keys. If they said "silver plated"
or "sterling silver" that means something quite different. Of course it IS
misleading, but not technically inaccurate -- not inaccurate enough for a
lawsuit, anyway. Costco is probably just parroting what the manufacturer's
sales material says. The Glenn Edward clarinet I wrote about does NOT have
silver-plated keys, but all of the Simba and some of the First Act ones I
have seen appear to.
