This is an unmoderated list, as Mark Charette will no doubt point out on his
own. No one has any authority to remove off-topic material that arrives at
Klarinet's mail server. The only person empowered to censor material
(off-topic or on) is the original poster before he/she clicks the "Send"
button. Moderated versions of Klarinet have been tried twice - the most
recent one, Clarinet, may still be running. They've never been big sellers
among the "regulars" on Klarinet.

Sean Osborn, by the way, apart from being a highly accomplished clarinetist,
has been a participant on Klarinet for a long time. He must feel very
strongly about this to have brought it into Klarinet, and now it's up to the
rest of the list whether they want to discuss it or drop it (by not
continuing to respond).

The whole subject of off-topic posts has been discussed a number of times in
the past. Check the archives to see some of the heat, light and smoke that's
been generated previously.
