My first clarinet was a metal Buescher. It was then a perfectly
respectable instrument and if yours is from the era of ca. 1930-1950 it
is probably an acceptable instrument. That the instrument may be old is
irrelevant asssuming that it has no cracks, though it may need some
typical work appropriate to an instrumnet that has not been used for
some time.

$150 is a good price for a Buescher E-flat clarinet.
