Trina says :

"As for mp, I=E2=80=99m still using my Vandoren B45. It lets me
get plenty of volume, which I have previously been
short of, but I wonder if it might be a bit too harsh.
I tried a Grabner CXBB this week, but found it stuffy.
Maybe I ought to try the next model up. Since I know
he=E2=80=99s a sponsor, any advice Walter?"

None of my mouthpieces should feel "stuffy". If the mouthpiece is indeed=20
stuffy, and the owner feels so, he or she should send it back. I'll alter it=
or=20
replace it, no problem.=20

The problem might be reeds. The Vandoren would use quite a different reed=20
than mine. Might want to try mine again with "fresh" reeds.

Also, your embouchure might require a more open tip and different facing=20
length. I have four different bass clarinet mouthpiece "models" now. I final=
ly=20
came out with one with a 1.90 tip - the CX_BB_90 - Maybe you'd like that on=
e=20
better.
