Gillian,

If you chance to decide to do away with the Lefevre idea and do more
Mozart, my clarinet studio here at USF has just finished a huge research
project centered around Mozart's K. 622. I'd be more than happy to
compile some info for you. :)

Subject: [kl] lefevre tutor

Hi

Wondering if anybody can help !?
As part of my performance practice course at Glasgow University, I have
to
present a piece, performing it and discussing relevant historical
factors in
my approach to performing such a work.Since we have researched Mozart
extensively, I was thinking of presenting a Lefevre sonata. The problem
is,
I cannot find any sources to obtain a copy of or extracts from Lefevre's

tutor which would obviously be crucial in a study such as this. Does
anybody know where I could get a hold of this or can anybody suggest
any alternatives ? I can only choose a piece for clarinet or clarinet
and
piano since it has to be performed as the original was.

Thank you

Gillian
