I guess I got lucky ... everything's up & humming now, and I've finished
wiring up the new circuits on the 110 punchdown in the basement ...

Now, for the news ...

Plans are underway to move mail services onto a much newer & more capable
computer (the mail services are still running on the very first "sneezy"
computer, which is well past retirement age for the load it has to endure).
The new line that was installed is dedicated for mail and a few housekeeping
services.

The Web server is being replaced with a new server more able to keep up with
the demands of the Bulletin board, searches, et al. The current Web server
will become the mail server.

All the batteries in the UPS systems will be replaced in the next couple of
weeks - they're past their usable lifespan.

In order to keep all this stuff humming and running I have an annual
donation drive, which currently shows 120 donations. That's _90_ short of
last years drive.

Please consider donating if you haven't already -
https://secure.donax-us.com/donation/ has all the information.
