Upcoming performance with some serious clarinet candy. Anyone within the
Las Cruces, New Mexico vacinity should come on out for the show.

Saturday, February 14th at 8pm
New Mexico State University Music Center Recital Hall
NMSU Symphonic Winds presents "Love is in the Air."
(This concert serves as a preview of the Symphonic Winds upcoming
southwest tour, taking place from March 7 to 11, concluding with the
premiere performance at the College Band Directors National Association's
conference at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.)

The program will consist of:

Dudley Buck, Festival Overture (Fantasy on the US National Air)

Morton Gould, Family Album Suite
.....I. Outing in the Park
.....IV. Old Romance
.....V. Horseless Carriage Galop
(All five movements will be performed on the tour.)

Aaron Copland, Down a Country Lane

Gioacchino Rossini (attributed), Introduction, Theme, and Variations for
Clarinet and Orchestra in E flat major
.....featuring Dr. Laroy Borchert

Claude T. Smith, Danse Folatre

Student Admission (any student, any school) is $4.
General admission is $7.
