The Wiseman will fit in an overhead locker and will count as hand
luggage. Hence no need for it to be sent with "checked" (presumably hold
luggage?) baggage.

Subject: [kl] Case recommendations
I have a Yamaha double case that has room for two mouthpieces,
four barrels, and a few accessories. I carry it in a Lands' End
attache which gives me a music pocket, a shoulder strap, and
room for many more accessories. I don't know if this particular
case is still available; it came with a used Buffet A clarinet
that I bought in 1987.
Would anyone trust the Wiseman case, or any other brand, to protect
a low-C bass clarinet as checked luggage?
Claudia
