Joe, I don't know how you feel about it, but when someone tells me that
something is "simply" this or that (or "obviously" or "without question"
or "without doubt"), my reaction is that they are full of doo doo. Now
they may not be, but the use of "simply" is what in poker is called a
"tell." And therefore, the statement must be regarded as suspicious
right out of the gate.
