I just listened to a couple of her sound clips (they take forever to load
even on a broadband hookup), and I just want to say that I hate this
girl:-). Seriously, if Morales takes one person for every 40 who apply to
him, he made a good choice. Having been through helping raise a couple of
teenagers...well, I had two of the "normal" kind and there were still days
when I wondered "what do I do next?" Alia's parents sound like they have
themselves together, owned the fact they have a child who is uniquely
gifted in just about every area, helped nurtured the gifts, but also
insisted their daughter have something approximating a life outside the
pressure cooker.
