I often wonder if there's a way to persuade those who would pay $500 for a
"name" mouthpiece just because of the name, not on the basis of experience,
to buy one of the excellent mouthpieces available from Walter, McClune,
Smith, et al. for less than $200, and then contribute the rest to the
"McGarvey Home for Clarinetists Who Can't Play Scaramouche As Fast as Yeh
Does."
