I used some epoxy to fill in a chip in the original mouthpiece that came
with the Martin tenor sax I picked up recently. The job is far from
perfect, but does allow the reed to seal well -- well enough to see that
the mouthpiece really sounds GOOD. It gives a very big, but warm and
mellow sound, although intonation is better with a Soloist-style Selmer C*.
