Tim,

1 It's conical
2 It's not clarinet keywork....of any that I know of
3 It appears to have an opening at the top that would fit an oboe-like
mandrel

The images that Gary found look (under magnification) almost exactly like
the image on EBay.

If I'm wrong....it wouldn't be the first time.
