I did observe musicians in Cairo play a wind instrument that appeared to be
exactly like the one on EBay. I don't know what they called it. I couldn't
get close enough to the "band". I was lucky enough to hear two very good
bands playing at Egyptian weddings. The receptions were held in the Forte
Grande Giza....a very fancy hotel near Giza.

I'll continue to try to find a reasonable match.
