The guy on the website who plays the "Jakob the Liar" excerpts sounds
like the valedictorian at Snake Charmer's School. Seriously--it's a
haunting, lovely sound. Why did I associate it with Hungarian music?
It also sounds a bit--no, a lot--like a soprano saxophone. Then again
that alto playing "Le Cygne" sounded like a soprano too.
I'm sure you can buy a taragato from Lark In The Morning. In that case,
it's probably made in Malaysia.
