Lelia, Cute story about the tampon mouthpiece cleaner. I simply use a
Q-tip when I clean my mouthpieces. I was always taught not to run the =
swab
through the mouthpiece and I hate those mouthpiece scrubbers with the =
wire.
I seen quite a few ruined mouthpieces in the cases of students who were
advised to use these by their band directors. Personally, I think they
ought to ban these form the market but I suppose mouthpiece makers love =
them
for their tendency to increase the sales of new ones. I've seen some =
truly
nasty gouges in formerly perfectly good mouthpieces caused by those =
things.
