Another interesting thing I just noticed about the clarinet...
actually I noticed it before, but now I am thinking it was done
intentionally...the sliver key on the lower joint is only about half
the length of a "normal" one....at first I thought it had broken off
some time in the past and someone had filed it smooth, but now
I wonder if it was done purposely. It has obviously been filed on
the end, it was not made that way to begin with.
