My rosewood clarinets are made from Brazilian rosewood. The color of =
rosewood varies depending on where it was grown. I am not certain =
whether the location of growth makes a big difference, although I would =
imagine that wood grown in the rainforest would be different than wood =
from a more temperate region.

I can't help wondering if the name "India" or
"Madagascar" or "Bolivia is more significant than the differences
between individual pieces of wood regardless of their origin?
