Lelia, I certainly can't speak for all conductors, but I hate seeing scores
fully in concert pitch. Since I teach band at the grade school level but also
have high school student experience, I need to immediately see what my students
see on their page - if there's a discrepancy, I can then transpose and figure
out the correct chord note needed. I can say with a great deal of certainty
that 95% of the scores we read from professional composers are transposed.
Scores in concert pitch may be easier for conductors to read, but the useful
information is then one step further away.
