To Ken and the others who asked the question about compatibility of double-reed or flute embouchures with the clarinet embouchure:

My experience is that a good clarinet embouchure (not a tight, grimac-y one, but a nice, relaxed, flexible one) and a good oboe embouchure (charmingly described by Jay Light in his excellent manual, "Essays for Oboists" as the "anteater", as opposed to the "Cabbage Patch Kid", embouchure) are intrinsically compatible and in fact may reinforce each other. That's how it works at my house, anyway.

Jay Light's book is available from Gary Van Cott, of this list. HIGHLY recommended (both the book and Gary's website).
