Hey, it wasn't MY claim, it's what I was told. Not by the guy who's
teaching me clarinet, either. He doesn't even know I've hacked around
with the (Irish) flute.

If I thought I could sound like Galway I'd be out making a ton of money.
Then again, I'd rather have my own low talent and reputation for being
an ignoramus instead of owning a rep like the soprano Kathleen Battle.

Now, there's that Finnish company that makes flutes from carbon fibre
and silver...start at about ten grand...maybe I'll go check 'em
out...now someone on this list is going to send me a note offline
starting "DON'T YOU DARE!":-)
