Hi,

{New reader, first time poster, new ICA member.}

I read about how when Benny Goodman began using a double-lip embouchure for
playing classical music, it screwed up his ability to play correctly with a
single-lip embouchure when he tried to switch back (at least on one
frustrating occasion).

As far as playing multiple instruments requiring different embouchures, my
teacher plays flute, clarinet and sax professionally, and can immediately
put one down and pick up and play another.
