Which university city are you closest to? Do you have a driver's
license, and (I assume you're in high school) are you allowed to drive
substantial distances from home? If so, perhaps you might check out
people in other cities who teach. Lessons every other week in another
city might be an option. Also, you could see about carpooling with
someone, or even taking a bus or train, if those options are open to
you. (I confess I know little about mass transit in Ohio). There are
some fine universities in Ohio, and some fine players in the cities there.

If you are this interested in pursuing the clarinet, and you show such
an interest, and can put up the money - or even part of it - for
lessons, I would think your parents would encourage it. (I know I would
- I'm a parent, and I know sometimes I wish my oldest had taken up
clarinet, rather than rugby! it's a LOT less dangerous!)
