Speaking of which, I happened to drop by Avery Fisher yesterday and caught
Mark Nuccio playing the Brahms quintet. The playing was superb, and I was
tremendously impressed by Mr. Nuccio's sound. The evenness between the
notes, whether in a slow passage or a fast passage, was remarkable.

Aside from a little water problem, my only quibble was with the tempos,
as they seemed a bit slow to my ears.

All in all, a great concert, and well worth the rush ticket.
