It was a very long time ago and I didn't write them down at the time but
here goes (not in any particular order): finger correctly, read music,
breathe in/out effectively, watch and respond to conductor (in a large
group), listen to self, listen to others, count accurately, blend,
balance, play in tune, play correct dynamics, play rhythmically
correctly.... There are 12, but I'm sure some of these could be broken
down further or there are probably other things I've missed.

Would others please comment or add to the list?
