Is there any suggestion on a ligature or are most the same? Is there a
good one for a Hite Premier mouth piece? I know this on says five were
played the same. I mentioned before my ligature screw was broken and I
can't get a screw for it. While I'm asking about clarinets, mouth pieces,
and ligatures; I am just wounding what kinds (or Brands) of reeds does
everyone use? I play with 2 1/2 and usually Rico's. If I had more money
and could get more the 1 to 5 reeds in a pack I would get better reeds.
The only problem is Sam Ash is about the only music store who carries
reeds. The local store in town only carries rental instrument (very
expensive and over priced). During marching band I broke my last reed so
I had to get one from my director and he only had one Vandoren left, no
Rico's like usual or any others. I tried playing with that and it sounded
so much better then my Rico's I usually play with. If they weren't so
expensive I would play with them instead. That Vandoren lasted almost a
month in marching band season with heavy use most of the time. Most of
the Rico's are so cheap with regular playing (45 minutes in band a day
and half to hour of practice a day - more practice on weekends).
Does anyone else have the problem if you hit reply and it displays the
address for Klarinet then it goes only to the person who sent the message
that you are replying to not to the Klarinet list.
