Hello.

The instrument needs to be pinned and glued or banded with carbon fiber
and glued. I prefer pinning as it's easier to hide and I've had none open
up in 30 some years. Yes. Todays glues are better than ever, but they
still aren't a match for the strength of a crack that wants to open up.
:-)

My charge is $45.00 per inch. Others should be somewhere around there.
