My best friend/repair guy showed taught me a twist that was taught him by
Tom Ridenour. You use super glue (we use Hot Stuff, a great brand you can
get from Ferree's or Allied), but mix powdered grenadilla wood with it
before putting/pushing/forcing it into the crack area. It seems to increase
the bond and make it less visible afterwards.
