Well okay, here are some more...

4) Reading music
5) Correct instrument position
6) How to use the tools (learning aids) the method book provides, such
as how to read the fingering chart
7) How to practice, when (every day) and how log (my beginners aim for
20 minutes)

I know that's more than three, but there's so much to be learned.
Actually, a band leader friend of mine and I once sat down and figured
out that there are 14 actions a wind instrument player does
simultaneously when playing, so how can I pick just three for you to
teach?
