No. Minidisk uses a compression scheme to fit more data onto the tiny
disk. The process is NOT lossless; that is, some degradation of the sound
occurs, as some information is lost in the compression/re-expansion. It is
good, but not AS good as CD-quality.

I have not been burning CD's long enough to know, but I doubt this. And
like I said, just copy the disk every 5 years and all will be well. I
understand that the burned ones are slightly more prone to scratching and
damage of that sort, but, again, with proper care, the life should be long.
