Depending upon exactly how the break occurred, the tenons can often be=20
replaced for a fraction of the cost of a new joint. Our shop does it all=20
the time.

Monique instruments are cheap Chinese garbage, desperately attempting to=20
masquerade as French. They are right in there with First Act and the other=
=20
brands you buy at Sam's Club for $200. Many on the list look down their=20
noses at Bundys. (Of course, when playing, you HAVE TO look down your nose=
=20
to see it! But I digress.) However, I think they are fine student=20
instruments, fully equal to the comparable Buffet, Vito, and Yamaha models,=
=20
and infinitely superior to a Monique. I play a Bundy 1400 as my jazz horn.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is TOO LOUD!
