For portability I can't see past my Roland RD700 (I think it's available
worldwide - I can't see them selling it in UK only...?) It'll be more
expensive, but has the weighted action which feels like playing an acoustic
piano, nice piano sounds, many other good quality sounds and 128 voice
polyphony!!! (that same white key glissando but with a two layered tones.)

It is a pro keyboard so has no internal amplification or speakers, but I
love it.

Cheers,

Ian

In my experience, Roland and Technics seems to have done the best job of
making portable pianos that feel and sound like an acoustic. The one
limitation of my Clavinova is 32-note polyphony. You'd think 32
simultaneous notes would be enough, but many glissandos sound bad because
I end up losing the low notes before I get to the top. Newer digital
pianos have 64-note polyphony, which lets you do a complete white key
glissando from bottom to top.
