As you may know, Bayside Music Press has been offering The Heritage
Encyclopedia of Band Music for sale on our website since early this
year. There are three volumes in the complete set. Volumes I & II came
out in 1991, and Volume III, a supplementary volume that ties in with
Volumes I & II, came out in 1996. The three volumes total more than
2,100 pages.
I recently learned that Integrity Press, publisher of The Heritage
Encyclopedia, had just over a dozen complete 3-Volume sets remaining in
stock in their warehouse, so I bought the entire remaining stock of
complete sets. When these are gone, the Heritage Encyclopedia will be
"P.O.P.," as they say in the publishing business -- "Permanently Out of
Print."
I also changed the Bayside Music Press website listing to show these as
"temporarily unavailable," and I'm offering my fellow subscribers to
several mailing lists the opportunity to own these few remaining sets.
I've sold six, and have eight sets left.
These last remaining complete three-volume sets are for sale to buyers
with a USA shipping address, for $240.00 plus $10.00 to cover packing
and shipping via Media Mail, on a first-come, first served basis. If I
don't sell them all within a week or two, then I'll put the remaining
sets on eBay.
If you'd like to purchase one of these sets, please follow these steps:
(1). Send an e-mail to Bayside Music Press at: jobriant@-----.com,
placing your order. The subject of your message MUST include the words
"Heritage Encyclopedia."
(2). Don't send any money until you receive a reply from me. I'll fill
orders for the Heritage Encyclopedia in the order in which the e-mails
arrive here, until all the available sets are spoken for. I'll also keep
additional orders on a waiting list, in the order in which the e-mails
arrive, in case any buyers change their minds or fail to make payment.
(3). As I receive your e-mail, I'll send you a reply, telling you either
(a) "please send payment" or (b) "you're on the waiting list."
(4). If I say "send payment," you may pay by credit card through PayPal
on the Internet, or you may mail a check or money order. Your payment
must be in our hands within ten calendar days after we request payment,
or your set will go to the first person on the waiting list.
(5). If you pay by credit card or Money Order, I'll ship your copy of
The Heritage Encyclopedia to you within 1-2 business days after I
receive your payment. If you pay by check, I reserve the right to delay
shipment by 10-14 days, to ensure that your check has cleared.
(6). If you're first on the waiting list and a set becomes available,
we'll go back to step #4 above.
If you've ever wanted to own this indispensable reference work on band
composers and band music, now is the time to act. When these last
remaining complete sets are gone, there will be no more.
NOTE TO PRESENT OWNERS OF Vols. I & II Only: If you own Volumes I and II
of The Heritage Encyclopedia, you will be pleased to know that the
publisher also has a limited number of copies of Volume III available
for separate sale. The price for Volume III alone is $90.00 + $6.00 for
shipping via Media Mail. If you'd like to complete your set while Volume
III is still available, please drop me an e-mail at jobriant@-----.com
to place your order for Volume III only. You'll be able to make payment
as described above for the full sets, but there should be no need for a
waiting list for orders for just Volume III.
