Amazing. I used to play the second movement of the Mendelssohn Sonata for
the occasional music club or ladies' "cultural" get-together. It's one of
those pieces that pop into my mind when I can't sleep. It puts my wife to
sleep playing the accompaniment.
On the other hand it is an interesting exercise for experimenting with the
many alternative fingerings over the break.
