Why tune with your eyes?
SmartMusic is a fantastic tool, but a far better solution for intonation training is available. It is also on sale at the Tuneup website. It also has a money back guarantee.
Perhaps someone would like to review Tuneup for the Clarinet list. Tuneup provides full, pure chords to work with in addition to the traditional drone. It is audio CD based instead of computer based, so the player can use it in the practice room instead of the studio. I have university players performing better in tune than many pro orhestra players, so I know it can be done.
I recently heard Larry Combs completely redefine Tchaikovsky 6th, both with his artistry and his intonation. Let Tuneup help with the intonation part!
Merry Christmas to all,
Stephen Colley
