Changing the tuning on most MIDIs is not impossible, but might be involved.
Pitch Bend is one way, and some controllers have a Pitch Offset SysEx to
adjust the tuning.

I'm working with Dan offline to see if we can get it tuned better for him. I
needed a bit of mental flossing anyway ...
