Do you want it for yourself or to recommend to students? If for yourself and
you like the M13 Lyre, consistency really shouldn't be an issue - try
several and pick the one you like, then don't break it. It won't matter how
the other 5 million play. If for students, there are several mouthpiece
makers who correspond with this list who make quite consistent student
mouthpieces.
